Nokia will launch feature phone with Android, there are many things including Google Assistant button

HMD Global has several Nokia phones in the pipeline to launch from this month. One of these is the Android-powered Nokia feature phone which has been handpicked for a long time. A new sketch has come out which looks like Nokia feature phone is running on Android.

HMD Global is bringing back the classic Nokia phones in a new avatar including Nokia 3110, Nokia 8110 and Nokia 5310. With this, the company is also expected to work on Nokia feature phones which will be powered by Google’s Android-OS. A sketch of this Nokia feature phone has come out which has a dedicated Google Assistant button. This sketch has been shared by Nokiamob. It is believed that this is an Android-powered Nokia feature phone with roomer.

Design is similar to Nokia’s phones

Apart from the Google Assistant button, the rest of the design of this phone looks like other Nokia feature phones. There is also a selfie camera on the top of the phone. The sketch of this phone resembles the same Nokia feature phone which appears in the video running on Android. Google does not currently have any Android-OS for feature phones.

In the video, Nokia feature phones can be seen running a non-version of Android with pre-installed Google apps like YouTube and Chrome. The phone also supports Google Assistant voice search, which can be activated by pressing its button.

A Nokia feature phone has passed FCC certification but there is no mention of Android in it. It seems that this new Nokia feature phone is still in the early stage of development but it is expected to be launched soon.
