Facebook-owned image and video-sharing app Instagram has released a new feature that lets in food orders to be located thru the app, as a part of an attempt to guide nearby businesses in the course of lockdowns. The feature became first rolled out inside the US and Canada to assist meals shops struggling during the pandemic and has now been accelerated to the United Kingdom as a part of a worldwide rollout.

According to Instagram, a new Action button will be introduced to a business or restaurant’s profile, or a Food Order sticker could be introduced to their Instagram Stories. The users who faucet on the button will be able to make a buy through the meals business’s website.
