NASA launches Mars Perseverance rover on mission to Mars to Exploration & fly ingenuity helicopter on Mars

US Space Agency NASA’s Mission Mars 2020 has been launched from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. In this mission, the Perserverance Rover is being sent to the surface of Mars. During its mission, this rover will collect old life information on NASA’s surface. In addition, this rover will also bring stones and soil from the surface of Mars to the earth.

Rover will find answers to many questions related to astrobiology

NASA’s Perseverance will find answers to many important questions related to astrobiology, the biggest question of which is: Is life on Mars possible? This mission will not only search for places on Mars where life has been before, but will also find signs of microbial life present there.

The Perseverance Rover core will sample from the rocks and soil there and place it in a cache on the surface of Mars. In future, missions going there will bring these samples back to Earth. Actually, to study these samples, scientists will need a large lab which is not possible to take to Mars.

A small helicopter named Ingenuity is also going with this rover. Who will attempt to fly alone on the surface of Mars. While flying amidst the extremely sparse atmosphere of Mars, this helicopter will rise 10 feet above the surface and go up to 6 feet at a time. With every effort it will try to move forward.

Its small helicopter Ingenuity will release after landing on Mars. Never before has a rotorcraft been flown anywhere except on Earth’s atmosphere. Ingenuity will demo the same on Mars. This helicopter will rise 10 feet above the surface and will go up to 6 feet at a time. It will hardly fly for 15 minutes, but it will provide information about the use of this technology in the coming time so that studies can be done even in places where the rover or humans will not be able to go.

The special thing is that Ingenuity is named by Indian-origin student Vanija Rupani. NASA conducted a contest called ‘Name the Rover’ in which Vanija sent his entry. Out of 28 thousand essays, Vanija’s essay was chosen in which he wrote – ‘Enginuity is what helps people to prove amazing things. It will help expand our horizons in every corner of the universe. ‘

‘Life was definitely in history …

On this mission, NASA Administrator Jim Bradenstein said, “We don’t know if there is life or not, but we know that there was a time in history when Mars was worth living.” Only America has been able to reach Mars successfully. He has done so eight times, starting with Vikings in 1976. 6 other spacecraft are studying the planet from the center. Three of these are from America, two from Europe and one from India.
