The Coronavirus pandemic has claimed more than 6500 lives across the world. As the disease continues to spread, Microsoft’s Bing team has launched a web portal to track the spread of the COVID-19. Users can access the map at bing.com/covid.
Microsoft’s coronavirus dashboard looks and works like other trackers we’ve seen so far. You can see the total confirmed cases of the disease along with the recovered cases and confirmed deaths because of the COVID-19. The map also lets you click on a specific location and see the statistics of Coronavirus cases from that country.
The site features an interactive map that allows visitors to click to see country-specific information. This includes a number of cases and related articles from various publishers. The data on the website is aggregated from sources like the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). Microsoft also announced the website two days after US President Donald Trump said that Google has begun working on the COVID-19-related portal for US citizens.
