While Windows 10 already has some approaches to rename files in bulk, lots of them are clunky or complicated. You shouldn’t have to use the Command Prompt or PowerShell to rename documents en masse. It has a collection of on hand little tools, which includes a PowerRename tool that makes it clean to rename multiple files at once.

Getting PowerToys
PowerToys is currently in beta and disbursed in GitHub. To get PowerToys, you just need to visit the app’s releases page and down load the ultra-modern version.
- Go to the Releases web page on GitHub for PowerToys.
- Click the most recent release within belongings to down load PowerToys. For example, “PowerToysSetup-0.16.1-x64.Msi”.
