How to check

First, the Aadhaar cardholder will have to go to the UIDAI website and click on the Aadhaar update history. After this a section will open. After which the users have to fill the Aadhaar number or Virtual ID and Security Captcha. After this, you have to enter security captcha and once you enter it, one time password will come on your registered mobile number. The user will be able to see his history as soon as he enters the OTP.

1. Log on to uidai.gov.in.

2. Go to the Aadhaar Updates section and click on the last option – Aadhaar Update History.

3. After clicking on the Aadhaar update history, it will take you to a page, where you need to enter your Aadhaar details.

4. You can enter either your Aadhaar number or Virtual ID (VID) and then the security code.

5. You will then receive an OTP (one-time password) on your registered mobile number and after entering the OTP, it will direct you to a page with your Aadhaar update history.

UIDAI earlier this year announced the introduction of a 16-digit identification number called Virtual ID (VID) as an alternative to the Aadhaar number to verify a person’s identity. A Aadhar card holder using Aadhaar VID will not be required to share their Aadhaar number at the time of authentication.
