Oppo has not yet revealed what ColorOS 7 will bring to its smartphones. The ColorOS 7 launch date teaser suggests the update will improve gaming performance and offer a minimalistic UI experience. Oppo VP Brian Shen had teased last month that Oppo phones would get system-wide Dark Mode soon.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth also confirmed in a video that ColorOS 7 will have a custom version for Realme phones, which will be closer to stock Android. “Realme smartphones are based on ColorOS and we will continue to do so. However, we have worked on the user feedback and ColorOS 7 version will have an exclusive version only for Realme phones. And with participation from our developers, it would be much closer to the stock Android experience,” Sheth said.
